It seems like the E46 M3s and the Z4MC share similar abilities in terms of what you can/can't fit within the fenderwells without rubbing. Would it be fair to say that if it fits the E46 M3 it will fit the Z4MC?

Once I get a Z4MC, I plan to mess around with wheels and offsets to hopefully provide more insight into potential set-ups, but hoping for a decent understanding before I start throwing money around at wheel sets.
