Like Beedub says, bolts are one time use on the firewall. However, that's for some build dates only (mid 06 forward according to BMW, but mine is a 12/06 build and has old style nuts, not bolts). See this
post for a view of both types. Newer type bolts require torque and then angle torque. New bolts are ~12 dollars IIRC.
