The top is actually a fiberglass gel coat with maybe a metal spine of some sort in the middle. I can't really tell about the metal due to the composition. It's definitely gel coat though and pretty lightweight but cumbersome and awkward to carry by yourself. The headliner is the same...gelcoat outside with fabric glued to it. Thnxs for the inquiryn
