18x10 : 43et (rear option 2)

Im a bit skeptical because most people seem to be running an 8.5" front wheel with a 245 tire and a 9.5" or 10" rear with a 275 tire. Im not sure if Id have trouble with a 9" front, and the 18x10" offset doesnt seem aggressive enough...

Leaning towards the MT1 for convenience sake but just trying to weigh the options.
The 10" wheel would need a spacer to correct the offset. That 10" wheel was designed for non-m cars that need a high offset+rolling to fit a wheel that wide.

The 9 and 9.5" wheels will work. Do note that none of their 18" ltw-5 wheels meet JWL standards due to their low load rating. Some of the vendors disclose the wheels as "not recommended for street use" and some don't.

Do you know what tires you want to run for street/track? The actual tire will have a big effect on fitment as they vary significantly. Also do you have any modifications?

There are a few threads floating around about the APEX ARC-8 wheel. You can see varying wheel sizes and tire choices that people have mounted on their M's.

For a track setup I'd recommend the 18x9" et42 wheel and the 18x10" et25 wheel. If you add some negative camber to the front in the future, then you can mount up some 255/35/18 r-compounds in the future as the wheels become a more dedicated track set.
