I'll be mounting up the following wheels next weekend and would like to order some tires in from tirerack. The wheels will be going on a 3.0i with sport suspension.

18 x 8.5 et38
18 x 9.5 et41

I plan on using 245/40 tires in the front, but am looking for input on the rear tires. I'm thinking 275/40, but want to make sure that an ~11" wide rear tire won't cause issues. The car is a daily driver that is never tracked, but I do like the more aggressive stance the wider tire would give.

Is there any reason that I'd be better off with a 255 or 265 series tire?
