AFAIK they never made a hard deflector, only the mesh kind. It was an option at time of purchase. See my
mod thread for instructions on retrofitting it. See also that post (at the end) as to why according to BMW mesh is better than acrylic.
There's also one you can just put on top of the roll bars, see
here.
