Hey OP! Lovely ///M Coupé...I'm about to repurchase one. What wheel/tire setup are you running? I'm thinking you might have more of a square tire setup, in typical Dinan style.
I owned the car when new, and remembered the staggered tire setup was not ideal for handling. The car was way better balanced when I switched to a square snow tire setup for winter. Also the suspension was too stiff for northeast roads, contributing to traction loss constantly...probably fine in California though.
