i don't have any personal experience with alufelgen or LC but when compared to VMR and Forgestars there are some similarities between the ARC-8's. With the forgestars, specifically the F14's they are similar to the ARC-8's. The look similar (same kind of pattern) and weigh about the same for the sizes they offer. As for VMR's they have a couple different styles (CSL reps and the 710's come to mind) but these rims are heavier compared to both the F14's and ARC-8's. My VMR CSL's are around 24-25lbs per a wheel while the forges or apex's are around 18lbs in the same size. As for saying its a "dedicated track wheel" i'd say that as long as you don't drive into huge pot holes or up onto curbs you should be fine. I used to roll around on my enkei RPF01's daily and tracked them and had no problems on the street. hope this helps
