They'll stay on the rim and keep the rim off the road but that's about it. The 50 mph max speed is more about keeping the car under control with no air in one of them than it is the tire. We've got them on the wife's E88 for the same reason you're running them. Getting her home if she runs over something ...........again.
They ride rougher than non-runflats and they don't handle as well, but their main purpose is getting you home.
