SK, SAS is one unit. I still have the old one and will take it apart some day to see why it failed, if possible. You can buy a kit from BMW which includes the new SAS, bushings, and the special retaining bushing which holds the SAS in place. I did not go that route, the SAS was $250 at Tischer, so I bought a used one from England(from low mileage 2008 Z4) for $62 shipped. If the old one is carefully removed, all bushings can be saved. It works fine.
