I met up with fellow Zpost member itdnwiwbp and his girlfriend for lunch yesterday afternoon at Lucille's, an excellent BBQ place in the Promenade Temecula shopping center. We decided to do an impromptu photo shoot on the roof of the East parking structure. Mine is the 2006 M Roadster and his is the 2007 M Coupe.
Mine has a Stromung exhaust, H&R Sport Springs, and Michelin PSS 245/40ZR18 front, 275/35ZR18 rear. I'll let idtnwiwbp fill in his mods which are far more extensive.

There's more to this photo shoot though! This is a five-story parking structure and levels 3-5 were empty, so we accelerated quickly up the ramps, both of our Stromung exhausts echoing loudly in the garage. While we were trying to decide the best position for the photoshoot we were visited by the local constabulary who mentioned that we were going kind of fast up the ramp. I told him that since the garage was empty we were going faster than normal, but added that I absolutely wouldn't have done this if there was anyone else on those levels. He seemed fine with that and then asked "Is that a real M?" I said yes, they were both Ms but that the Coupe had been debadged before it was purchased. He mentioned that he had never actually seen a Coupe before. We chatted a bit and he said that sometimes kids would come up there and do donuts.
We repositioned the cars and got the shots you see here and then the local mall security paid us a visit. We were told that there was no loitering allowed on the roof and that we weren't allowed to take pictures. He said that the no loitering was because people had jumped off the roof! We told him that we were going to lunch so we would reposition the cars and leave.
Unfortunately, this wouldn't be my last encounter with law enforcement that day. On the way back to San Diego on the vast wide-open stretches of SB I-15 I got pulled over and got a ticket for a 3-digit speed violation.
