Bavarian Technic advised me today that, "if the cable has not yet had its VINs cleared we can do so. There is no charge for this, but we will clear the VINs from an Enthusiast kit one time only." So, the buyer can use it for up to 3 vehicles by sending it to the technician or simply use it for one vehicle.
