I was discouraged from doing this, the shocks would no longer be valved correctly for the springs, and the shocks are twin tube so they wouldn't respond as well. This is why I started the Ohlins group buy.
I'd also be interested to know if anyone did it though. If you look on the e46 boards harold at hp auto has sold a few conversion kits.
