Where did you get the new engine and care to say roughly how much total this problem will cost you? I am interested in knowing worst case scenario with this engine and getting a new one with a two year warranty seems like a good solution to what happened.
There's another thread here where a rebuild didn't work out at all and I hope I never end up with either problem but it wouldn't hurt to have some plan of action if it does.
