Had the Rogue transmissions mounts installed today; techs took one look and compared the ones removed and the new ones were: "nice, beefy". I find the shifting is improved and especially when braking and moving the lever, especially the 3->2 where I've been denied a couple of times. That is now gone. This isn't a cure for the notchiness, but it is shifting consistent now. The original bushings were the typical BMW hourglass rubber, you could compress the rubber with your fingers whereas the Rogue mounts are still neoprene rubber, they are far stiffer and should last much longer.
