Yup, its unbelievable the amount low mileage nice E39 M5, E60/3 M5/6, E46 M3, Z3s & E85 Z4s being sold these days, people who have had the car a while but don't use much selling for more than they probably paid long ago. Plus niche dealers trying to grab any cool car and flip.

I overpaid a little for my Z4MR 6spd two months ago, but I am ok with it, original owner excellent condition.

My E34 540i 6spd in great condition is north of $15k about now, and my E60 M5 6spd is above $25k, doesn't matter to me as zero interest in selling.

Bought my M for $30k, put 30k kms on it and a dealer is selling one for $55k with just a bit more mileage and one model year later. Now I don't think I'll get that in a private sale but who wouldn't be tempted by that from a pure financial sense?
