One more small bump in the road. The car is running great, but when they did some fine dyno tuning the boost was down about 1.5 because of the extensive intercooler piping. I guess the shape of all the bends caused a reduction in boost with the current pulley and belt setup. According to Roman, the new pulley and belt will be added within a couple of days and this will make the blower spin faster to compensate. One major benefit will be more powewr than they planned because of the new pulley and belt. Roman was thinking maybe 525bhp for the VT2-500 kit
The boost is set for 7psi on the VT2-500 and the blower is going to spin faster than planned...so I would think this will add some nice blower sound
This is all very normal R&D stuff that happens with a new kit. These guys definitely have everything under control and I'm very impressed with their timely and honest communication. ESS rocks! I will post more info when I get it. Cheers
