2005 Z4 - Steptronic. Which trans and diff fluid to use?
Just hit 75k on the car and going to drain/fill the steptronic tranny and differentials as preventive maintenance. I hear great things between Red Line and Royal Purple fluids so I might stick to their fluids instead of paying so much money for BMW brand. Thoughts on that?
Other questions.
1) What type of fluid do I refill the auto trans with? How many quarts/gallons?
2) What weight/type of fluid do I refill the differentials with? How many quarts/gallons?
