True, but since there is no Z2 on the horizon yet I dont see that happening anytime soon, I think the Z4 will be with us for its entire lifecycle (till 2009/2010). Now replacing it with the X3, thats definitly a good alternative for BMW, scary, but I guess if they decided to kill the Z4 tommorow they could put the X3 production there, ouch for us. Luckily i'm sure BMW has contracts with the austian factory that the car is currently outsourced too, so they wont let go too easily. I still believe the Z4 will be with us for its whole lifespan
