So far I (personally) haven't been impressed with any of the CF drive shafts..they're great for oem or slightly above oem power but once you start talking 600rwhp+ they just don't seem to hold up. Have a few friends who've broken them. Mainly at the yolk where the CF attaches.

Regarding the axles they're actually heavier.. but significantly more durable. Our cars (E46 M3, Z4M, etc) all snap axles pretty easily under wheel hop. This is more of a precautionary step that Trevor took with those axles. Some people have had no issues with their stock axles and turbo E46's.. but quite a few have snapped them with even the slightest amount of wheel hop.
