kklin, that is helpful, especially the "out of phase" concept. It really is a different mindset, and needs a different approach.

The difference for me with AutoX, as opposed to the track, was that everything happened so fast and seemed so abrupt. That's not a bad thing, it's the nature of the sport, and just requires practice and more exposure. As the day went by, I was able to adapt a bit (obviously not enough, but it got better than the start of the day).

In any case, thanks for the insight, I love new challenges!
