IIRC the level sensor is in the tank as a separate item. I did replace my fuel pump, which is in the tank as well. The 03-05 had issues with the fuel pump humming, they also had instrument cluster issues as well, usually with sound notifications. I have not seen anyone say anything about fuel levels. I take it that the tank does get full? ( just not the auto shutoff of the fuel dispenser)?
