I'm 49, and I just wish everyone would stopp calling me "sir" all the time. Especially the cute waitresses.
I know it's a term of respect, but I would prefer something like "meistro" or some such.
The funny thing is, when people ask me how I can afford it on a teacher's sallary, I just smile and say "It's a gift from my Mom", which is true in a way. I'd tell the story, but you'd all need tissues for the tears.
