Removing Secondary Air pump without CEL?

Hello
My 03 z4 2.5 with 50k miles had a check engine light for a bad Secondary air pump. reading other forums I have learned that this is a common problem with bmw's.

Instead of buying a new pump and valve id rather have it removed for good.

does anyone know how to close the circuit at the pump so that the ECU does not show a CEL? or where to get a SAP simulator?

or is there a chip that fixes this feature for our cars from dinnan or such?

Edit:
I will answer my own question since there where no answers.

The secondary air pump is known to keep going bad even after the valve which usually causes it to go bad has been replaced. Each pump is $450

the purpose of the pump according to the dealer is to warm up the cat converter for about 1 minute only on cold days.

I decided to install a secondary air pump simulator. There is a very small risk that not having a pump will cause the cats to burn out prematurely.

IMO this will never happen. non us versions of this car do not have this pump and are doing fine.

The secondary air pump simulator was about 25 bucks and has been working fine since I installed it 3 months ago. no cel and I should pass emissions test fine in chicago since there is no sniffer test.

any questions feel free to shoot me a pm and Ill point u in the right direction.
