Thanks to all for the warm welcome. The //M is a great car I'm sure but not the right car for what I needed. I drive 8 miles to work and back, mostly on local roads at the breakneck speed of 30 MPH. Sits at home all night and weekends and might do 1 big road trip in it per year. All the added costs that come with that little //M badge would be wasted for sure.

Karaticus, it is funny you said that because as soon as I got the Z4C home next to the 280Z I thought "dam" these cars look the same!
