With that said, I hate to talk bad about a club but I think this was with Trackdaze and I'll just say after running with them last year once I don't plan to run with them again. They were very "lax" with rules and who they let in for each run group.

Greg, if you can swing the high(er) cost with NASA you really should run with them. Great group of guys but unfortunately the northeast chapter is a bit pricier (because instructors are more subsidized by student fees as compared to say clubs like PCA or CCA). But PCA and CCA is just as good and they tend to be cheaper. I only say NASA is a good club b/c incidents are RARE and their in-classroom instruction is top notch. If you ever want to do an event at Summit, I think NASA Mid-Atlantic is the best club hands down.

D - Thanks for the suggestion here. It is good to know the driver probably fared better then the car. and good reminder for picking up insurance, especially for a track novice like me.
