I'd suggest running 110v and 220v to wherever you might need it.

I installed a ton of 110v outlets when I sheet rocked my garage and I'm glad I did. I also put 2 new 220v outlets in at the same time. One is unused, the other is in the corner with my 220 compressor.

I also went with 4 banks of quad florescent lights. Nice and bright when working at night.

Don't by the cheap air hose like I did. It kinks and gets twisted very easily. Drives me crazy when the big loops get caught on stuff in the garage.
