That doesn't look too bad, as some BBK installations simply ask for spacers to be added for better fit. That definitely look stronger than adding spacers.
My next question is, how does the caliper clear 2 additional inches of rotor? Did you take measurements to specifically set the outer edge of the pad parallel to the rotor surface?
