Quick suggestion, get some Scale pads (Longacre makes some decent ones that are affordable), and a laser level from your local hardware store. You'd be surprise how uneven garage surfaces are, and having a level surface for the scales makes quite a bit of difference when it comes to your corner balance, definitely worth the extra setup time to make sure you start square..
