Thanks for your interest guys, but here is the deal.
Yes, it looks and sounds amazing, weighs only 4.5 pounds (compared to 8.5 stock), and reduces flow restriction giving HP gains!
The down side is I will most likely be selling this to an e46 M (2001-2006 M3) owner.
The reason, This plenum is deeper and extends further out toward the intake. The S54 in an M3 sits back in the engine bay slighty compared to the
Z4M, so an M3 owner can use this plenum with the stock or any intake they desire.
In our Z4M's, you can not use the the factory or AFE air box because there is not enough space. If you look at space between the Gruppe M intake and the the front corner of the plenum in the photo above, you can see what I mean. The only intake that will fit with this plenum on the Z4M is the GruppeM.
