I think the retrofit kit costs about $1000 - $1500 IIRC. There is a significant amount of labor time to install, 20 to 30 hours comes to mind but I may be wrong. And the number of shops willing to undertake this may be limited. But if one were to find an otherwise great car that could benefit from this and the kit could be installed by a competent shop at a fair price, it would certainly be worth looking into.
