I think people that have bought a Cayman S ended up coming back or eventually selling it. 1M is a good car but why not get an M2 instead. More availability and while looks are subjective, it looks nicer.
If it were me I'd go for a 911 (preferably GT3) instead of a Cayman. The Cayman is fairly similar and I don't think the premium you'd pay for it is worth it over the Z4M.
