I thought I would be keeping this car for life, but alas, the car bug has bitten and I’m in the market for something new. I’ve owned the Z4M for two and a half years and it’s been my weekend car nearly that entire time. I’ve only put about 4K miles on it over the last year. It’s been problem free and has never left me stranded. I’ve changed the oil every 6K miles and all other fluids are up to date on changes.
Exterior Condition: 8/10
The Z4M has been in covered parking or garaged the entire time I’ve owned it. There are some light scratches, rock chips and very minor door dings, but the rest of the paint is in fantastic shape. The “fangs” on the front bumper have a couple scrapes, but it’s pointless to get them fixed since you’ll scrape them on something no matter how careful you are (trust me). The headlights are nice and clear and the exterior plastics and rubber are in good shape.
Interior Condition: 8/10
The interior is in great shape for an 11 year old convertible. The biggest flaw is some of the seat dye has wiped away on the driver’s side bolster. The leather is still soft and supple; I regularly clean and condition the material. I recently installed an alcantara steering wheel, which provides great grip and is flawless.
Things to note: The car will be sold in stock form with the exception of the alcantara steering wheel and black kidney grills. As for options, this car has the Premium Package, heated seats, no nav and the factory AUX jack.
