able to get back down to the track again...this time I had my stock exhaust on and was running it for over 200 miles to let the ecu settle...so the question remains as to whether the muffler delete actually makes you lose HP. decide for yourself.

stock exhaust
ET 8.59
mph 83.3
60' 2.001

muffler delete
ET 8.532
mph 85.24
60' 2.001

I wouldn't go as far to say that the muffler delete increased HP but given the noncontrol of the ambient temp, track cond, driver error, etc there certainly doesn't seem to be any loss in HP w/ the muffler delete after giving the dme time to readjust.

saw an e39 540i w/ vf stage I 350 rwhp
ET 9.1
mph 80.2

c5 vette man. mods unknown
et 8.7
mph 83

e90 m3 man (this is a perfect example of a drivers race)
et 8.6
mph 80

f body camaro ss, bolt ons
8.3
80

Overall I'm quite pleased w/ how this little Mroadster was doing in a straightline and to know I'm a decent driver that can pull consistent times. My point was proven and the M won't be hitting the track anymore but my nitroused truck will
