It's pretty common to use Porsche Boxster S calipers along with M3E46 or CSL/Z4M rotors, but they are pretty similar to 996 calipers I guess.
I will be using that concept on my Z3 race car. Porsche Boxster S calipers all around (Millway adapters up front and custom adapters in the rear) with CSL rotors up front and Z4 3.0 rotors in the rear.
