From what I have read and experienced, all Zeds have some sort of rattle or noise. I hear a rattle when going over a rough road as well, and mine is near brand new. Dealership was of no help. If you feel comfortable taking apart your car and working on it yourself there are a few people on bimmerfest that have tons of DIY fixes for annoyances like that.
