If you haven't done it already, its also a good time to upgrade the mount bolts at the block.
ian as you know i was very concerned about lifting the motor..... i completely removed the mount frames and STILL need to life the motor.... even with all my s/c plumbing in place, it really was a non issue.... dont worry about have to use the jack to slightly lift each side, their is alot of room to play with after actually doing this/seeing it with my own eyes...... i actually enjoyed taking my time on this and DIY it..... Very pleased with these items.... right up their with the best of my mods!! They even look good!!! lol!!
