I bought a very small mount from Amazon that has 3M tape on the back. I attached it to the wood and have the Nuvi below and to the right of the vents. So far it has stuck to the wood during five months of Fla summers. The car was parked outside for a week when I had my driveway redone and could not get into the garage and it stayed on. If I do want to remove it, some dental floss will cut the tape and some careful removing will get the remaining adhesive off. I'll take a picture and post if you are interested.
