Helluva deal on a helluva car. I dont know of another car that is in performance category at this price. The only other cars I can think of in this performance category are the
Lotuse Elise (pretty stripped down)
Corvette Z06
BMW Z4M Much better quality than the Chevy or Lotus
Porsche Cayman or Boxster but at $20K more than the M
this is a direct competitor but less HP for more cash.
Porsche 911 GT3 Much better performance but at much greater cost.

There are pretty fat discounts to be had on the Cayman now as well. My local dealer has a low option Cayman S at ~10k off putting it around $53k or so, they have similar discounts on other cars, most with more equipment.
