Yeah its a pain in the urethra to get it back in properly. Remove the rubber grommet from the firewall, and install it first. Inspect the grommet and see how it forms a seal around the hole. Install it by going around the inside hole (edge) with your fingers to get a good seal. Then just stick the tube into it while slightly twisting back and forth
