I wanted to give my take on the KW V3 height max on my Z4MC. My rear can reach oem height. I can even go a tad higher than oem if I exceed their recommended settings which seem very conservative. I initially went too high in the back because I was trying to keep OEM height. I had to lower it a bit cuz it looked like an offroad vehicle. In the front you definitely cannot reach oem height. At absolute max height it is still 0.4inch lower than oem. The front doesn't have the extra thread room like the rear does.
I haven't fiddled enough with the settings yet but I can say the car is much more predictable. It is way more fun to drive and I haven't even dialed it in. I went a click harder on rebound than the recommended settings for street use and I still plan to go a few clicks harder while remaining very comfortable.
