Slightly odd pad wear ...
I am running StopTech 4 piston brakes all around. Just pulled off the front Hawk DTC-60 pads that were worn past halfway and noticed the the driver side outside pad was more worn than the inside. Passenger side was about even inside/out.
Any thoughts on why?
My guess is that most tracks I run are clockwise and hence trail braking into right handers puts more wear on the outside. I also tend to tap the brake pedal coming out of esses to compensate for knockback esp as pass start to wear. Does this make any sense?
