Hi all. I'm new to the board and my Interlagos Blue '07 Z4 M Coupe is new to me. Stock except for a short shift knob, an aluminum hand brake cover and a stubby antenna--all installed by the PO(s). After several years away from the auto-x & HPDE scene I got the itch again. This time the kids are (almost) out of the house and my wife encouraged me to get the car I wanted. I love that woman. I spent 15 years with my beloved 95 325is before it finally gave up (or more accurately, I gave up on it). Best memory of the 325... lapping Laguna Seca in the rain with my wife falling asleep in the passenger seat--either I'm really smooth or I drive like a grandmother.
Anyway, it's off to a car control clinic and auto-x in Monterey in a few weeks for my first taste of go-fast. Looking towards Thunderhill in November if that goes well.
