Running 275/35/18 square

Just want to share that I was able to fit 275/35/18 NT01 square on Z4M with no rubbing.

Front Wheel is 18x8.5 ET38mm plus 12.5mm spacer, camber -3.5
Rear Wheel is 18x10 ET25mm no spacer, camber -2.5

I know 275 suppose to be mounted on wider than 8.5" wheel but this is an experiment with my existing wheels since I usually run 245/40/18 front with no spacer and 275/35/18 rear with no spacer, but was curious on how 275 will feel in the front.

Despite the obvious "squeezed" look in front, there is no issue with tracking it for 4 track days. Basically, the braking and turn-in improved (less understeer) but steering provides less feedback at the limit and it does not return to center as quickly (may be due change in scrub radius with extra spacer).

It is a trade off....for tight corner it is better , for higher speed (>65mph) corner, I like the 245 front better.

I am going to experiment with 255/35/18 square next since I used up the R-compound in 4 track days and do about 16-20 track days per year so I usually use about 4-5 sets of R -compound per year.

I have learned tire behaviors at limit having tried various tires from R888, NT01, R6, Z214, and have also tried mixed tires such as Hoosier R6 in front and NT01 in rears to reduce mid-corner understeer.
