If you want tossability, you want mid-engine (IMHO).
Test drive the R8.
If I wasn't putting a kid through college I'd be in an Evora-S.
If the S is too pedestrian, they have a couple higher end variants.
Also saw an article today that claimed a mid-engine Vette may be out by year end.
But nothing sounds like a big fat Aston.
