My top motor has been getting slower the past year or so, I may be looking at replacing it. Tempted to try myself and relocate the motor to the trunk. My car is a garage queen so the only water is from a few rain events, and washing it - drains are clear.
The motor cost itself is about $600-800 depending on source, add to that 8 hours of labour (that can be the DIY part).
If there are any Londoners interested in giving this a go, I'd be happy to learn and help out with a replacement (reciprocal).
