Yeah, the sound related to no load vs. load, says engine mount... unless you lost a nut on the exhaust manifold.
How violent was the bump? What part of the car hit when bottoming out? or did you just hit the shock bump stops?
up front you may have scraped the plastic shroud, but under that is the thrust plate which offers protection for oil pan etc.
