In between professional detailing I just give it a quick spray of Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer and Wax (2 separate products). They take 5 min each to apply to the whole car. Okay, maybe 6 minutes if you have a coupe. Easy to use, high quality products for the busy family man. It doesn't give the same showroom shine as carnauba wax, but it does 90% of the job in 10% of the time. It's literally just spray and wipe. No elbow grease required.
