I agree with your comment about blacked out wheels, on some cars looks bad, most of the time it's just to much.

I do like the black out mufflers. Try a thin silver ring at the end of the tip for a accent. About 1/4 of inch from the end deep. Get a little tin foil to wrap around it to give you the general idea and take a picture, that might help you decide if you like that idea.
