Is it just me, or is anyone else seeing the sunglass holder being less than reliable?
I have two E86 coupes. The sunglass holder in the 3.0si stopped staying closed last year. So I removed it, tweaked it, and reinstalled it -- reinstallation was a MAJOR PITA. It stays closed now. When I can get it to open. When I can get it to close.
We drove out to Pittsburgh in the M Coupe this past weekend for the
Bring A Trailer Alumni Reunion. On the way home I noticed that the sunglass holder was open; it happens, sometimes I forget to close it. So I closed it. A little while later there it was, open again.
I've never put anything but clip-ons in either one so it's not like there's a pound of weight.
